Skill Acquisition and Psychology Lesson One In this first lesson we cover; ‘Skill’ vs. ‘Ability’, factors affecting variations in skill and what makes ‘Skilled performance’. Lesson Two In lesson two, you are introduced into how you can classify skill using continua and a basic ‘Information Processing Model’. Lesson Three Lesson three covers a vast amount of content including; feedback, memory, stages of learning and types of guidance. Lesson Four Lesson four sees the introduction of psychology, you will cover the different type of motivation and how it affects performance. Lesson Five In lesson five you will be investigating; ‘Arousal’, ‘Anxiety’ and ‘Relaxation Techniques’. You will also be shown Yerkes and Dodson’s ‘Inverted U Theory’. Lesson Six In this concluding lesson, you will go through different types of personality. We will also recap the all of the content covered in this section.
